The shuttle will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 30, departing from Paradise Commons at Lake Waconia Regional Park.

Boats will leave the mainland every hour on the hour and return from the island 15 minutes before the next hour. The final trip to the island departs at 3 p.m.

The guided hikes will give visitors a chance to explore the island’s history, natural features and scenic views while enjoying a relaxing ride across Lake Waconia.

The service is free and open to the public. No registration is required, and rides are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Youth must be accompanied by an adult.
