Out of an abundance of caution, the beach at Baylor Regional Park is temporarily closed to all water recreation until further notice due to a suspected blue-green algae bloom in Eagle Lake.

The following activities are not permitted at the beach during the closure:

• Swimming
• Wading
• Launching watercraft

The fishing pier remains open and available for public use.
