The Carver County Sheriff's Office believes that community engagement includes educating the public on safety. We are proud to support three important firearm safety initiatives that help protect families while preserving Minnesota's strong outdoor traditions.

Be Smart

Be Smart LogoThis program encourages parents and caregivers to securely store firearms, model responsible behavior, ask about unsecured guns where children play, recognize the risks, and have age-appropriate conversations about gun safety.
