Prepaid Communication Services

NCIC Inmate Communications offers prepaid calling services, allowing incarcerated individuals at the Carver County Jail to stay in contact with loved ones. Incoming calls cannot be received. Each inmate will have access to a telephone after completing the booking process. Telephones for private use are located in each housing area.

Inmate calls—both local and long-distance—are billed at a per-minute rate with no connection fees. International calls are also billed per minute. Three-way calls are prohibited.

Inmate Messaging and Video Visiting

You can video visit from the comfort of your home and send messages and pictures—quicker, easier, and more affordable than mailing letters. You can fund video visits and messaging through your existing NCIC Inmate Telephone account, or, if you don’t have an account, visit www.NCIC.com to set one up.

Rates:

• Video Visits: $0.25 per minute
• Messages: $0.20 per message
• Picture & Video Messages: $0.30 each

There is no limit to the number of messages or photos you can send, and inmates receive them instantly. However, messages that threaten the facility's safety and security will be denied.
