A: You can pay a probation fee in several ways:

• Pay online by visiting the Fee Payment page on the Court Services website.
• Mail a check or money order (payable to Carver County) to:

A: Court fines and restitution must be paid to Carver County Court Administration. You may:

• Pay in person at Court Administration on the first floor of the Justice Center.
• Call 651‑281‑3219 if you know your file number (begins with 10‑).
• Pay online through the Minnesota Judicial Branch payment website.
• Call Carver County Court Administration at 952‑361‑1420

Q: What happens when a juvenile is taken into custody?

A: When a youth is taken into custody in Carver County, they are brought to the Carver County Juvenile Detention Center, a juvenile unit of the Carver County Jail.

• Staff notify parents or guardians during intake.
• A probation agent contacts the guardian on the next business day to explain next steps.
• Youth are entitled to a detention hearing within 36 hours, based on business hours.

Ages 15 or younger: 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Ages 16–17: 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.
