NAMI Family Support Group: The Behavioral Health Department promotes the Carver County Chapter of Minnesota NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) which offers a Family Support Group to adult family members and friends of individuals living with a mental illness. The group meets from 6:30pm - 8:00pm the first and third Thursday of each month except for holidays and church closure days (e.g. for weather) at the Trinity Lutheran Church at 601 E Second St in Waconia.
