The Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) is a Minnesota Department of Health initiative that supports local communities in creating healthier places to live, learn, work, and play. SHIP focuses on preventing chronic disease through proven, community-driven strategies that make it easier for everyone to make healthy choices.
Through statewide funding, SHIP partners with counties, tribes, and local organizations to strengthen policies, environments, and systems that support health and wellbeing for all Minnesotans.
