Making Good Health a Priority at Work
Many adults spend a large portion of their day at work, so having a healthy workplace is important. A supportive work environment can help employees stay healthy and lower the risk of chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease.
Healthy, engaged employees are essential for a productive workplace and a strong bottom line. More and more employers across Minnesota are realizing the value of making healthy choices easier at work.
Workplace wellness can help build a positive, healthy culture that has benefits for the employer and the employee, including:
- Better job performance
- Higher employee engagement
- Increased job satisfaction
- Improved customer service
- Greater employee retention

Employers can learn from one another and hear what other local businesses are doing to support a healthier workforce.
The Collaborative receives support throughout the year from Carver County's Workplace Wellness Consultant, AdvantageHealth. Email Carver County Public Health to learn more or to join the Collaborative.
