2024-2025 Carver County SHIP Workplace Wellness Report

This report explains the workplace wellness efforts completed by local businesses from November 1, 2024 through October 31, 2025. The work was funded by the Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP). During this time, Public Health staff helped local workplaces with projects that supported healthy eating, physical activity, breastfeeding support, and mental wellbeing. The goal was to make healthy choices easier for employees while at work. 

Reach

  • 14 worksite received funding for employee wellness projects.
  • 15 businesses participated in our quarterly SHIP Workplace Collaborative meetings.
  • 26 employees from Carver County businesses completed a Mental Health First Aid course offered through a SHIP-supported training.
  • Many businesses worked with our Workplace Wellness Consultant to build the foundational elements of an employee wellness program. 

Funding

  • More than $31,000 was distributed to workplace partners to support their wellness projects.
