Carver County Public Health offers various immunizations for adults and children. The vaccines are supplied by federal and state programs and are offered at no cost to persons who are eligible.

Who is eligible? 

Immunizations are available for children and adults who:Young Girl Getting Immunization

  • Do not have health insurance 
  • Have health insurance that does not cover vaccines

     AND children who:

  • Are American Indian or Alaskan Native 
  • Are on Minnesota Medical Assistance (MA), MinnesotaCare, or a Prepaid Medical Assistance Program (PMAP) 

Carver County Public Health is not able to vaccinate all adults. Adults who have Medicare, Minnesota Medical Assistance (MA), MinnesotaCare, or a PMAP are not eligible for vaccination through Carver County Public Health. These individuals should contact their regular healthcare provider or local pharmacy for vaccinations.

Additionally, state-funded vaccines for uninsured or under-insured adults are only available to Carver County residents. This residency restriction does not apply to children under 18 years of age. 

Vaccine costs vary based upon the types of immunizations needed. Carver County Public Health charges a $21 administration fee for each shot, but no one will be turned away if they are unable to pay.
