The WIC Peer Breastfeeding Support Program connects past WIC moms with current participants to offer encouragement and help with breastfeeding. Peers can help with typical breastfeeding situations, but they will refer families to local experts if a problem is outside their training. This free service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by text, call, or email. Call the WIC office at (952) 818-3728 for more information.
