Research Policy

The priority of the Carver County Land Records office is to record documents that are presented to our office. The role is also responsible to archive the document that is presented for recording and to make it available for research and public viewing. We are not able to provide any lien searches or assist in searching real estate records.

Carver County Land Records does not provide an abstracting research service to the public. Nor can we provide legal advice or assist in preparing legal documents.

How to Research

Recorded documents can be viewed in the Carver County Land Records and Vitals office Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Records going back to 1988 are also searchable online at Carver County MN LandShark.

If you need assistance with research, please contact an abstractor, a title researcher, or an attorney.
