The State Exam Station, located at 418 Pine Street in Chaska, is a shared facility with the Chaska License Center operated by the County.  Class D knowledge and road tests offered at the Exam Station are administered by the State of Minnesota. If you have any questions or concerns related to testing, contact the State of Minnesota directly at (651) 284-1234

Driving Manuals: Driving manuals can be accessed on the State's website  http://dps.mn.gov/divisions/dvs.

License Status: Information on the status of your license is available 24/7 at
(651) 284-1234 or on the State's website.

 

Limited License: Obtaining a Limited License (Work Permit) may require that you pay fees, take the appropriate tests, complete an application for a new license, and speak to an evaluator. There is not an evaluator at the Chaska location.  There are evaluators in Plymouth, Eagan, Arden Hills, St Paul, St Cloud, and Rochester exam stations. The Exam Station in Chaska does not have a local phone number. If you have questions your driver's license or would like other information, please call the state office at (651) 297-3298.
