When a specific item just can’t be reused or recycled, disposal may be the only option. For appropriate disposal options, contact a garbage hauler to set up collection service or visit a landfill or transfer station listed below.

Disposal sites may accept mixed loads of waste including regular trash and bulky non-recyclable items. Call first for items accepted, disposal fees, hours of operation and delivery instructions.

Transfer Stations

Because transfer stations typically charge per item or by the cubic yard, they are ideal for small amounts of waste, such as a pick-up truck load or a few bulky items (furniture, etc). Please call ahead to inquire about items accepted, disposal fees, hours of operation and delivery instructions.

Sanitary Landfills

Because sanitary landfills typically have a minimum charge, they are ideal for large quantities of waste. Please call ahead to inquire about items accepted, disposal fees, hours of operation and delivery instructions.

Construction and Demolition Landfills

Construction and demolition landfills take solid waste resulting from the demolition or construction of buildings, home remodeling projects, roads and other structures. Please call ahead to inquire about items accepted, disposal fees, hours of operation and delivery instructions.
