The Rachio 3 smart sprinkler controller automatically adjusts watering schedules based on weather forecasts, soil types, plant needs, and sun exposure—eliminating unnecessary watering and helping you create a more efficient irrigation system.

Program purpose 

The programs goals are to reduce water used for irrigation thus conserving groundwater (our drinking water source) and also reduce stormwater runoff caused by overwatering
