Located within Baylor Regional Park, the Eagle Lake Observatory provides opportunities for astronomy education, public viewing events and night-sky exploration.

The observatory facilities are owned and operated by the Minnesota Astronomical Society, whose mission is to promote astronomy education, public outreach and scientific observation.

Please note that observatory facilities are open to the public only during scheduled events and when society members are present.

Public Star Parties

Public Star Parties provide opportunities to observe the night sky through telescopes and learn from experienced astronomy volunteers.
