Home Menu82nd Street Project
The 82nd Street (Highway 18) Project is a continuation of the Arboretum Area Transportation Plan (AATP), connecting Highway 13 (Bavaria Road) to just west of Highway 41, improving mobility for residents, businesses, and visitors.
Improvements include converting the existing gravel road to a two-lane paved highway and adding a multi-use trail to enhance pedestrian and bicycle connectivity, including a connection to the Chaska Ravine Trail. The project is designed to address current safety and congestion concerns while supporting projected area growth.
Work includes roadway reconstruction, trail construction, environmental documentation, geotechnical analysis, and necessary land acquisition.
