The Highway 10 Corridor Study evaluated long-term transportation improvements along Highway 10 from Highway 43 in western Laketown Township to Highway 61 in Chaska.
Led by Carver County in partnership with Minnesota Department of Transportation, the Cities of Chaska, Victoria, Waconia, and Laketown Township, the study identified improvements to support vehicle, pedestrian, bicycle, transit, and freight travel.
The study provides a long-term plan to address safety, mobility, and regional connectivity needs.
Study Purpose
The study was conducted to:
- Identify existing and future transportation issues.
- Evaluate potential improvement options.
- Recommend corridor improvements.
- Develop a phased, long-term implementation plan.

Public Engagement

Schedule
The study began in September 2018 and concluded in early 2021 with resolutions of support from the County Board and participating cities.
