Highway 61 and Highway 41 Corridor Study

The Highway 61 and Highway 41 Corridor Study is a long-range planning effort led by Carver County and MnDOT, in partnership with the Cities of Chaska, Chanhassen, and Carver. The plan identifies needed roadway, safety, and mobility improvements along Highway 61 from Carver to Chanhassen and along Highway 41 through downtown Chaska.

These corridors remain essential connections for residents, businesses, freight, pedestrians, and bicyclists. The study outlines recommended projects, future investment priorities, and a phased implementation timeline to guide improvements over the next 20 years. The full report provides detailed concepts, costs, and the collaborative work behind the shared vision for these key corridors.
