Highway 92 Corridor Study

The Highway 92 Planning Study looks at future roadway improvements on the east side of Waconia.

The study builds on earlier planning efforts that identified a future road connection between Highway 5 and County State-Aid Highway 10. This connection is part of the long-term East Waconia Bypass plan.

Carver County and the City of Waconia are working together to coordinate roadway planning with future development in the area.

Construction of the corridor is anticipated in phases over the next five to 20 years, as development occurs and funding becomes available.

This study will:

Confirm the preferred corridor location.
Identify future traffic needs.
Prioritize improvements.
Create a clear, long-term implementation plan
