The Carver County Board approved the 2026 budget and property tax levy on Dec. 2, including an 8 percent increase. This includes a 6 percent base levy and a 2 percent surcharge tied to federal and state cost shifts. For a $495,000 home, taxes will rise 5.6 percent, or about $6.80 a month.
