A Redetermination of Drainage Ditch Benefits is conducted when a Drainage Authority determines the original benefits or damages of record no longer reflect reasonable present day land values or that the benefitted or damaged areas have changed.

The redetermination of benefits process is most often used to update outdated viewers reports. It may be initiated by the drainage authority upon determining that the factors warranting a redetermination exists. Land owned petitions may also initiate this process.

The Drainage Authorities for Carver County Ditches 2-3, 6, 9, 10 and Joint Ditches 1, 4, 5, 7(formally CD7) & 15(formally CD5) have approved a Redetermination of Drainage Ditch Benefits and appointed viewers from H20viewers.  The .ppt below was presented by H20viewers at an informational property owners’ meeting at the NYA Pavilion on Tuesday September 3rd
